The Krása Quartet ensemble was founded in 2012 at the Prague Conservatory. Soon after its establishment, it performed at the international festivals Mladá Praha, Mladé podium and at the Jarmila Novotná Festival, whose concerts were broadcast by Czech Radio, and took part in the Antonín Dvořák competition. The quartet participated in the performance of the composer Pavel Trojan's opera The Shepherd's Tale (Pastýřská pohádka), which was performed at the Prague Spring 2013 festival. In 2014 and 2019, the ensemble took second place in the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition and in 2017 the ensemble played in the International competition of Karol Szymanoski string quartets in Katowice. In 2016–19, the Krása Quartet performed at the National Theater as a musical accompaniment to the Swedish ballet, choreographed by Alexander Ekman, and called Cacti as part of an evening of three ballets under the joint name Vertigo
